This loving six-and-a-half-year-old American Pitbull Terrier mix has a gentle heart that shines as brightly as her lightly golden coat. Weighing about 45 pounds, this affectionate girl is happiest when she is cuddled up beside her favorite people, soaking up warm sunshine in the backyard, or happily accepting hugs and belly rubs. One of Gracie's sweetest quirks is standing up on her back legs to wrap her front paws around you for a heartfelt hug, making every greeting feel extra special! Gracie is fully house-trained, crate trained, and enjoys squeaky toys, tasty treats, relaxing car rides, and exciting days at doggy daycare where she has built positive experiences with many canine friends. She knows "sit" and "lay," comes when called, and settles comfortably when left alone for short periods.
Ideal Home
Gracie is a people-oriented girl who truly thrives on companionship! She is friendly with visitors, enjoys being involved in family activities, and is happiest when she can spend quality time with the people she loves. She would do well in a home with older, respectful children and without toddlers. Because of past household conflicts involving senior dogs during highly emotional situations, she would be happiest as the only dog or with a younger, compatible canine companion after thoughtful introductions. A calm, reassuring environment helps her feel confident, as loud noises can make her uneasy.
