Peaches

Peaches is a sweet, friendly, and well-mannered Yorkshire Terrier who weighs about 5 lbs and was born around January 1st, 2023. She's a medium-energy pup with a history of transferring from another shelter. Peaches is a low-shedding, hypoallergenic-type dog, which might make her a good fit for some individuals with allergies.

Ideal Home

Any home capable of keeping up with her grooming needs will be a great fit for Peaches. She's happy in apartments and doesn't require a fenced yard.

Peaches is a low-shedding, hypoallergenic-type dog. She will require frequent grooming to keep her looking and feeling her best.

Training & Support

As with any pet adopted from us, please assume that Peaches will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, though this is not always the case.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Applicants must be 21+ years old and live within a 100-mile radius of our shelter at 22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089.
• You must identify at least 1 animal that you are interested in.
• Once your application is received, it will be assigned to one of our volunteer Adoption Counselors who will follow-up with the applicant who is the best fit within a few days, or to discuss other options.
• Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only, 30 minutes per appointment. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present for the appointment. (Note: Please do not bring your dogs if you are meeting cats!). The introductions will take place outside in our parking lot (or in our cat room if you're meeting cats).
• We will perform vet checks for current and prior pets in the household.
• Finalizing the adoption will also be scheduled by appointment.
