Poppy

Meet Poppy! This 3-year-old, 47 lb brindle beauty is a diamond in the ruff, ready to shine in her forever home. Poppy was found as a stray in Houston, Texas, and after a stint in an overcrowded shelter, she was rescued by a loving foster family. Now, after over a year of waiting, she's eager to find her permanent family. Poppy is a social butterfly who adores people and gets along great with other dogs. She's an apartment dweller who happily settles in her kennel when her foster dad is away. She's house-trained and a good girl who doesn't chew on things.

Ideal Home

Poppy loves to stay active and enjoys walks and trips to the dog park, where she makes lots of furry friends. She rides well in the car and has done well with children. However, due to her energetic nature, we believe she would thrive best in a home with older children, 12 and up.

Ongoing Health

Poppy is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations and preventative care. She will come with a health certificate prior to transport.

Training & Support

Poppy is house-trained and doesn't exhibit destructive chewing behavior. She enjoys playtime and cuddles, making her the perfect companion.
