Solstice

Solstice is a quiet, sensitive girl who was found as a stray in New York and, due to limited space, was at risk at ACC. We stepped in, got her out, and promised her a new lease on life. She's timid and still learning that the world can be a safe place, likely a reflection of an unknown past that wasn't always kind to her. Solstice is taking things one day at a time, discovering what it means to feel safe and cared for.

Ideal Home

Solstice would do best with an experienced, patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. She needs a calm, loving home where she can move at her own pace, decompress, and slowly open up without pressure.

Ongoing Health

All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Solstice is shy and unsure right now, and needs consistency, compassion, and the space to become the dog she's meant to be.
