Meet Kidda!
Kidda is a striking and intelligent young active dog with an impressive mix of Siberian Husky, Australian Cattle Dog, Akita, and Border Collie. She's a true adventure companion who thrives in an active, engaged lifestyle. Kidda is a high-energy, enthusiastic girl who loves to run, jump, dig, and play. She's an excellent jumper and would do best with a family that enjoys staying active and providing regular outlets for both physical exercise and mental stimulation. After a full day of activity, she's also very affectionate and enjoys settling in for quality cuddle time with her people.
Ideal Home
Kidda would be best suited for a home without small animals such as birds or rabbits due to her prey drive and herding tendencies. A kid-free home or household with older dog-savvy children may also be best for this girl. She would likely thrive as an only dog or possibly with one calm, well-matched canine companion, as she enjoys being the center of attention and can become over-enthusiastic during play, especially with toys or balls.
Ongoing Health
Kidda is medically cleared and ready for her new home.
Training & Support
Kidda is fully potty trained and walks well on leash. She is also kennel trained, though continued work on confidence is encouraged. Kidda is a working-breed dog who needs a "job" to feel fulfilled. Training, enrichment activities, hiking, agility, and structured play are all excellent ways to help her succeed. When under-stimulated, she can become anxious or mischievous, so a committed adopter who enjoys ongoing training and confidence-building will be key to her success.
