Meet Abba, a tiny German Shepherd mix with a huge heart who is just waiting to feel safe again. When she was found, Abba was severely underweight and terrified. But with love and consistency, she has begun to bloom into the sweet, affectionate girl she was always meant to be. Abba may take time to warm up to new people and places, as the world is still a little scary for her. But once you earn her trust, you’ll see her silly, soft, and snuggly side come out. She especially bonds well with women, so a female adopter or a home with a strong female presence would be ideal. Abba doesn’t need perfection – just someone who sees the beauty in progress, someone who won’t rush her, and someone who says, "You're safe now." If you’re ready to help Abba continue her journey from fear to freedom, she will repay you with loyal love for a lifetime.

Ideal Home

Abba enjoys the company of friendly pups and is not dominant. She would do best with calm, patient families and older, considerate children. A stable, routine environment is a must for Abba, as her confidence grows little by little every day.
