About Half Pint

Hi! I'm Half Pint!

I know what you're thinking, that's a funny name! But I didn't choose it. I was named partially after where I was found and partially because I was the smallest in my litter. But chances are, you could probably call me anything and as long as you're nice, I'll answer to it! I came to Throw Away Rescue with my mom and my littermates about 2 years ago. All of my siblings have been adopted to good families, so it's just my mom and I left looking for homes. I'm a pretty chill gal, so I tend to get overlooked by the other dogs that are more outgoing. And although I love attention from human friends, I don't really seek it out. But if someone calls my name or wants to pet me, my butt wiggles uncontrollably and I get really happy! I'm sweet, mellow, and gentle (except when my butt wiggles). I don't jump on my human friends because I see other dogs do it and most humans don't like it. I'm very polite, I get along with other dogs, and I love kids (and kids love me)! I haven't met a cat yet, so I'm not sure if I like them or not, but I'm willing to try! I never have accidents in the house and I'm crate trained, although, it's not my preference. I would make a perfect best friend and companion if someone would just give me a chance! Can I be your new best friend?!
