Meet Hattie! She's a sweet 2-year-old, 54lb Border Collie/Lab mix who has been patiently waiting for her forever home since December. Hattie adores her people and children, and is seeking an active family to join. She's a fantastic walking companion, ready for an adventure on the trail and then happy to relax on the couch with you afterward. If you appreciate the intelligence and loyalty of herding breeds, Hattie is eager to impress you with her smarts and devotion.

Ideal Home

Hattie would do best as the only dog in the home, as she can be selective with other canine companions. She's looking for an active family who can keep up with her energy and appreciate her unique play style.

Hattie is heartworm negative. She has been spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Hattie can be selective with other dogs. She enjoys a "push-pull," bouncy, hoppy style of play and does best with dogs who match her energy and play preferences. Dogs that are overly rough, rowdy, or constantly rolling around can sometimes trigger Hattie's "herder mode," where she feels the need to supervise and control the fun, which is a typical trait for smart herding breeds. When paired with the right canine friends, Hattie absolutely shines.
