Katarina

Katarina is a 1.5-year-old, 67 lb German Shepherd mix with the most incredible heart. She was found dumped at an abandoned house with her four puppies, doing everything she could to keep them safe. As if that wasn't enough, she later took in and nursed three additional puppies who had been abandoned at just 3-4 weeks old. This girl doesn't just love; she protects and nurtures with her whole soul. Now that all of her babies are safe, it's finally her turn to be someone's baby. Katarina absolutely loves belly rubs and will happily roll over to soak up all the affection you're willing to give. She's wonderful with kids and has a gentle, loving nature with her people. She also loves other dogs and enjoys having canine companions to play with.

Ideal Home

Katarina needs a home without goats, chickens, or cats.

Ongoing Health

Katarina is healthy and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.

Training & Support

Katarina is fully potty trained and pretty crate trained. She will require a heavy-duty crate if crated, as she is strong and smart enough to break out of a standard wire crate.

Transportation

Katarina is currently located in Texas and can be adopted either locally or out of state. We coordinate everything with our ground transport teams to ensure they arrive safely to the adopter and keep the adopter in the loop every step of the way. Transport costs are included in the adoption fees. We also have our fosters video chat with potential adopters prior to adoption so that the adopter gets to see the animal and ensure it's a fit. We allow adoption fees to be paid via goods and services if desired to give our adopters extra security and protection.
