Raffi

Meet Raffi, a handsome boy with a gentle spirit, looking for a patient and loving home to call his own. Raffi arrived with us in rough shape, malnourished and unwell, but he's truly blossomed into a thriving, sweet companion. While he can be a little timid when first meeting new people, his playful and affectionate personality shines brightly once he feels safe and secure.

Ideal Home

Raffi is a social boy who enjoys going for walks and would likely do best in a cooler climate, as his dark coat can get hot. He particularly prefers the company of women and can be fearful of men, often responding with barking. He needs an adopter who is patient and willing to help him work through his anxiety. Because of his fear of men, he will likely always be on the cautious side.

Training & Support

Raffi needs patient guidance and training to help him overcome his anxiety and fear of men. He is a loving dog who simply needs someone committed to him for life.

Transportation

Raffi is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters will be matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet your new pup at the airport to welcome them home. During the summer months, dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable. We have successfully completed many adoptions with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border.
