Artemis

Meet Artemis, a delightful 1-year-old German Shepherd mix weighing in at 36 pounds. She's already mastered potty and crate training, giving her a wonderful foundation for her new life. Artemis is incredibly affectionate and thrives on attention. She gets along wonderfully with children and other dogs, and even does well with a foster cat in her current home. However, she does have a tendency to chase cats when she encounters them outside the home.

This intelligent and eager-to-learn pup is currently working on her leash training. She already knows how to fetch and is picking up basic commands quickly. Artemis loves to stay active and engaged, and with continued training, she might even explore obstacle or agility courses! She has so much potential and is sure to be an amazing companion for a family ready to provide her with continued training, an active lifestyle, and the love and structure she deserves.

Ideal Home

Artemis would thrive with a family ready to continue her training, keep her active, and give her the love and structure she deserves. She does well with children and other dogs, and her foster cat. However, she will try to chase cats outside of the home.

Ongoing Health

Artemis is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Artemis is potty and crate trained. She is currently working on leash training and learning basic commands. She is intelligent and eager to learn, so continued training will set her up for success.

Artemis is located in Houston, Texas, but can be transported to most states for an additional fee of $300.00.
