Dottie

Dottie is a 4-year-old, 62-pound bundle of love, ready to bring joy and laughter into her forever home! She's a wonderfully loyal companion with a goofy personality that's sure to keep you entertained. Dottie is incredibly intelligent and food-motivated, making her a quick study when it comes to training. She thrives on being by your side and is a true cuddle bug, always ready for some playtime or a snuggle session.

Ideal Home

Dottie would do best in a moderately active home that can provide at least one good walk or play session a day. She gets a little overstimulated in large groups of dogs, so she would prefer a calm environment with one or two dog friends, or she'd be happy to be the only pet! Dottie does have issues with younger men or boys due to a past negative experience, so she would do best in a home without them, or an all-female household. She is fantastic when meeting women!

Ongoing Health

Dottie is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Dottie is fully potty trained and crate trained, though she's also comfortable free-roaming in her foster home and doesn't cause any trouble. She walks well on a leash but can pull and bark when she sees other dogs. She's eager to please and picks up on training very quickly, especially with treats!

Transportation

Dottie is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is available for virtual meet & greets. She is eligible for transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up.
