Meet MOLLIE – Beauty, Brains & Loyalty All in One Package! Mollie is an approximately 2-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix with a heart as beautiful as her striking looks. She was found as a stray in a small Texas town, doing her very best to survive while caring for her five puppies. Thankfully, a kind couple stepped in and brought Mollie and her babies to safety. Her puppies are growing up, and now it’s Mollie’s turn to find a loving home of her very own. This gorgeous girl is incredibly sweet and forms strong bonds with her people. She does tend to prefer women, and once she trusts you, she is deeply loyal and devoted. Mollie enjoys being outdoors, stretching her legs, and taking in her surroundings—but when the day winds down, she’s happy to come inside and sleep safely in the house. True to her Shepherd/Husky nature, Mollie takes her “job” seriously. She will periodically patrol the perimeter of her foster yard to make sure everything (and everyone) is safe. She’s alert, intelligent, and naturally protective without being overbearing. Mollie has done well meeting male dogs, but proper introductions would be important. Because of her protective instincts, she would likely do best with an experienced owner who understands working breeds and can provide structure, consistency, and love. After surviving life on the streets while raising her babies, Mollie deserves security, comfort, and a family who will cherish her for the rest of her life. - Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- The adoption fee for out-of-state adoptions is $500, which includes transport, spay, current vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, negative heartworm test, negative fecal, health certificate, and registered microchip.
- As a direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet would take place on video call. The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
