Hi there! My name is Arty, and I'm an 11-month-old, 45-pound female Pit Mix with the sweetest soul. I'm the perfect blend of affectionate and independent – I love cozy snuggles just as much as having my own quiet time to relax. Some of my favorite things include belly rubs, walks, tug-of-war, chew toys, squeaky toys, and romping around with other dogs. I haven't met any cats in my foster home yet, but I can absolutely be cat-tested if needed. I got to meet some kids at an adoption event recently and I did wonderfully with them! I also behaved myself beautifully and walked well on leash, even though it was busy! I do have one small quirk: I prefer a little personal space when I'm laying down and don't love faces being right up in mine – boundaries are important, after all! I'm fully potty trained and crate trained, which means I already have great house manners and make an excellent house guest. If you're looking for a happy, loving, well-balanced pup to add to your family, I just might be your girl!

Transportation
I am currently located in Texas, but I can be adopted either locally or out of state. We coordinate safe ground transport for all our animals, and the costs are included in the adoption fees. We also offer video chats with my foster parents before adoption to ensure we're a good fit!
