I'm Harper, a beautiful 3-year-old Dutch Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix with a loving heart and a deep appreciation for the people I trust. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will become your shadow, your adventure partner, and your biggest fan, I might be exactly who you've been searching for. When we first meet, I can be a little shy and cautious. New people and unfamiliar places sometimes make me take a step back and observe before I dive in. But once I realize I'm safe, my affectionate side shines through. I absolutely love attention, pets, and spending time with my favorite humans. Give me a little patience, and I'll reward you with a lifetime of devotion. I'm a smart and active girl who enjoys keeping both my mind and body busy. Walks, exploring new places, learning new things, and spending time outdoors are some of my favorite activities. My curious nature means I always want to know what's happening around me, even if I occasionally need a little encouragement to investigate something new. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and truly enjoy having canine friends. I'm also around cats regularly and do a great job respecting their space. While I may find them interesting to watch, I understand that not everyone wants to play. I can also do well with children, especially older kids who understand that I may need a little time to settle in and build confidence. Shelter life can be overwhelming, but with consistency and patience, I continue to gain confidence and learn new routines every day. What I'm searching for most is a family willing to give me the time I need to truly blossom. Once I trust you, I'm all in. I'll be your loyal companion, your faithful friend, and the dog who loves you with her whole heart.
