Meet Tuesday! This spunky 17-pound Chihuahua mix is a bundle of joy who loves a good game of fetch, oversized bones, and children. While she can be a bit skittish when first meeting new people, her playful spirit quickly shines through. Tuesday also enjoys napping, going for long walks, and snuggling up in your bed. She's crate-trained for when she's home alone, but she doesn't do well with extended periods of solitude, so she wouldn't be a good fit for someone who works away from home all day. Tuesday has also expressed a dislike for dog parks, as she takes a while to warm up to other dogs. She might do best as the only dog in the household, or potentially with another dog her size after slow and proper introductions.
Ideal Home
Tuesday would thrive in a home where she can receive plenty of attention and not be left alone for long periods. She enjoys the company of children but may be initially shy. She may do best as an only dog, or possibly with another dog her size after slow and appropriate introductions.
Ongoing Health
Tuesday is up-to-date on vaccines and has been spayed. She will be microchipped before going to her adoptive home.
Training & Support
Tuesday is crate trained when left alone at home. She does not like being left alone for long periods and does not enjoy dog parks as she takes a long time to warm up to other dogs.
