Pepper

Pepper is a charming 4-5-year-old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix boy who is just bursting with love and ready to shower a special family with affection. He was rescued from a difficult situation and came to us needing a lot of TLC. Now, after receiving the care he deserves, Pepper is eager to find his forever home where he can finally experience the warmth and attention he craves. He's a snugglebug who loves to sleep under the covers and is doing well with house training. Weighing around 15lbs, he's one of the larger boys in his group and is a truly sweet companion.

Ideal Home

Pepper would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of attention. He is not a good fit for a home with cats. A securely fenced yard is required; we do not accept wireless or underground invisible fences.

Ongoing Health

Pepper has been neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, treated for fleas/ticks, and is heartworm negative. He has been microchipped. He may need a male diaper temporarily as he adjusts to being a loved pet.

Training & Support

Pepper is doing well with house training and enjoys sleeping in bed with his people. He does well with other dogs, though he will need some time to adjust to new canine friends.
