Meet Sampson, a delightful, smiley 9-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who is young at heart and ready to find his perfect forever home!
Despite his age, Sampson has a spirited personality and a zest for life that is truly infectious. While he may struggle with overarousal and anxiety during the first few days in a new environment, he quickly settles down and adapts well. One of Sampson's favorite ways to relax and find comfort is through belly rubs. This gentle giant absolutely adores the affectionate touch of a caring hand and will gladly soak up all the love and attention you can give. His sweet disposition shines through, and he is known for his loving nature and big heart. Sampson is a pretty good walker and doesn't get bothered by too much. Going for strolls with him will not only provide him with physical exercise but also help him feel more comfortable and confident in his surroundings. He also really enjoys car rides!

Sampson would love a home where he can relax and feel comfortable. He may need a little extra time to adjust to a new environment.
Ongoing Health
Sampson weighs 119 pounds and could benefit from a weight management plan. A balanced diet and regular exercise will help him maintain a healthy weight and overall well-being. All dogs go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
Training & Support
With a bit of guidance and positive reinforcement, Sampson will surely become an excellent walking companion, enjoying the sights and sounds of the great outdoors.
