BENJI 2 (Playful, Independent, Loves Dogs and People and Handsome)

Meet Benji! This handsome 8-month-old, 12-pound Chihuahua mix is a true gem with striking light green eyes and adorable white socks on his feet. Benji came to us because his previous owners weren't prepared for puppies, but despite his start, he has an abundance of love to give and is eagerly waiting for his forever family. He adores people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. His favorite activities include playing tug-of-war, zooming around with his canine pals, and carrying his favorite stuffed toys everywhere. Benji is a quiet boy who travels well in the car and enjoys being involved in his human's activities. He might offer a brief bark when someone new arrives, but it's just his way of saying hello!

Ideal Home

Benji would thrive in an active home that can keep his bright mind engaged. His independent spirit and long legs mean he's a jumper, so a home that can accommodate his energy, perhaps even with agility training, would be fantastic!

Ongoing Health

Benji is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Benji is crate-trained and is currently working on his house-training. He walks okay on a leash. Guidance on reinforcing his house training and providing him with consistent mental stimulation will help him continue to flourish.
