Meet Petey!

Petey is a stunning and unique 3-year-old, approximately 35 lb pup who we believe is a Lab/Shepherd mix, among other breeds! He's got adorable Jack Russell fold-over ears and a speckled body that makes him truly stand out. Petey's foster raves that he's an absolute best dog, a perfect 10/10! He's friendly and loving towards everyone he meets, including men, women, and children – he was even great with a 2-year-old! Petey is a playful pup who adores his toys, especially squeaky ones he can chase. While he may not always bring them back, he thoroughly enjoys the game! He also loves his rope and Kong toys.

Petey has a wonderful, balanced energy level. He enjoys active outings like runs and long walks, but he's also perfectly content to relax on his bed. He would make an excellent work-from-home companion as he's quiet, easy-going, and well-behaved. Petey doesn't suffer from separation anxiety and can be left alone uncrated for a full workday without any issues; he's never chewed or gotten into anything. He's also 100% housetrained and sleeps soundly through the night in his own bed. Petey is an excellent traveler and is great in the car. He's also wonderfully social with other dogs, eager to greet them on walks.

Ideal Home

Petey would be happy in a home with or without a yard, as he enjoys neighborhood walks. He's a great companion for active individuals or those who work from home.

Ongoing Health

Petey is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and fecal negative.

Training & Support

Petey is already house-trained and well-behaved when left alone. He enjoys playtime and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement for his chase-and-fetch games.
