Snowball

Meet Snowball, a sweet 7.5-year-old male Chihuahua mix who weighs about 11.5 pounds. Snowball's family had to surrender him to a shelter due to eviction threats, but he's now ready to find a loving new home where he can feel safe and cherished. He enjoys receiving pets and attention, and he gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Snowball also loves spending time outdoors. He can be a little guarded and might growl if you try to pick him up, but he's usually fine once being held. We don't know much about his past, but he's doing his best to adjust to his new life.

Ideal Home

Snowball would thrive in a home with adults who can provide him with a sense of security. He needs a safe retreat space, such as a crate or his own cozy corner, where he can relax with his treats.

Snowball is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Snowball is house-trained in progress and does well when kept on a schedule. He is also crate-trained. He can sometimes be snappy and growls when picked up, so patience and understanding are key. Providing him with his safe space is essential for his comfort.
