They've already begun their training journey, having been crate trained for a couple of months and are learning to walk on a leash with a harness. They're also picking up basic commands quite well, showing their intelligence and willingness to learn. These pups love being part of everyday life and are ready to bring joy to their new homes.

Ongoing Health

Meet Southern Cavaliers of Alabama. Emily Holder is from Alabama and breeds Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Welcome to Southern Cavaliers of Alabama. Im Emily, a stay at home mom of two glorious blessings I call my children, a 16 year old college prospect baseball player and my 'mini me', my 10 year old girl. My husband, Greg, works outside of the home for the Engineering division of The State of Alabama Department of Corrections and cannot forget I am currently a stay at home mama to three amazing Cavaliers, Lucy (currently Breeding - Ruby female) her sister and litter mate, Maggie (Next to start breeding: Black and Tan female) and their stud, Nicholas (he’s a Momma’s boy thru and thru). We are a small, home-based Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breeding program located in Millbrook, Alabama. Our Cavaliers are not kennel dogs — they are part of our family. They are raised right inside our home with daily love, gentle handling, and plenty of daily attention from our family. From their very first days, our puppies are surrounded by normal household sounds, cuddles, and careful socialization to help them grow into confident, affectionate companions. We are committed to preserving the beauty, temperament, and health of this wonderful breed. Every litter is thoughtfully planned, and we breed selectively with great care and responsibility. Quality and well-being will always come before quantity. Our goal is simple: to raise Cavaliers that are healthy, well-adjusted, and deeply loved before they ever leave our home — and to place them with families who will continue that love for a lifetime. We take time to get to know our prospective families because these puppies mean the world to us. When one of our babies goes home, they carry a piece of our heart with them. We’re always here for guidance, support, and a friendly check-in long after adoption day.
