Bones

Bones is a sweet, shy boy who has been with us since he was just a few months old. He was rescued from a difficult situation and has been a bit reserved since arriving. He's a morning person and brightens up for his first walk of the day, but can become withdrawn when he's back in his kennel. He often retreats to his doghouse but will cautiously come out for treats from familiar faces. We think he's starting to feel a bit frustrated by shelter life after so long.

During his walks, he absolutely beams! He enjoys being petted all over, especially ear rubs and butt scratches. He's also a star when it comes to leash manners and is very eager to please. Bones is motivated to learn and showed such gratitude during our one-on-one time. While he initially retreated to his house when put in his kennel, he quickly came out to greet us and was waiting eagerly each time we returned.

One-on-one time is truly magical for Bones and helps him open up and show his wonderful personality.

Ideal Home

A patient and understanding home is key for Bones. He would likely thrive in a quieter environment where he can build trust gradually.

Bones is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Bones has shown great promise with leash manners and is very responsive to positive reinforcement. Continued one-on-one time and gentle guidance will be essential for him to continue to blossom.
