Bruce

Meet Bruce, the Yoda of lap sitting. Bruce is a young adult chihuahua mix, estimated to be 2-3 years old and currently weighing 15 pounds, with an ideal weight closer to 12 pounds. He's as chunky as he is snuggly! Bruce is good with other dogs, big and small. He may be initially intimidated and submissive around new dogs, but he quickly warms up and even engages in a little play. Mostly, Bruce has perfected the 'velcro' dog act and just wants to be with his person. That person will likely be a woman, as Bruce is scared in new situations and appears to be afraid of men. Bruce is learning that not all men are bad, and he is slowly warming up to them. He can be a little intimidated by small children but has been accepting of dog-savvy, calm preschoolers.

Ideal Home

Bruce would likely benefit from having a canine companion, but if you're willing to spend dedicated lap time with him, he could also be an only dog. He may take a few days to settle into a new place, but with patience, he will become your very best, loyal friend. Bruce prefers being with his person.
