Bodhi

Bodhi is a handsome, playful 50-pound Black Mouth Cur mix who is looking for a forever home where he can continue to learn what it means to feel safe, loved, and part of a family. He was found left behind in a Miami neighborhood, scared, hungry, and unsure of the world around him. Despite his rough start, Bodhi has shown incredible resilience and love. He is now housebroken, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. He currently lives with two other dogs and gets along well with them. Bodhi can be a little skittish at first due to his past trauma, but he is not aggressive, just cautious until he feels comfortable. Once he trusts you, his goofy, affectionate, playful, and silly personality shines through. He even has an adorable habit of making funny little growl-purr noises when being pet. Bodhi is very food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. He loves running around outside, has plenty of energy, and enjoys swimming.

Ideal Home

An active home that can provide both structure and adventure. Bodhi would do best in a cat-free home as he likes to chase cats.

Bodhi is housebroken, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. He is food-motivated, which makes training enjoyable. He can be skittish at first, so patience and understanding as he builds trust will be key.
