Sadie is a playful and energetic young girl with a gentle heart. She can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but with patience and kind affection, she quickly begins to relax and show her sweet personality. She loves to run, play, and especially enjoys hugs and cuddles once she feels safe. Sadie is joyful, loving, and full of energy. She is Balu’s sister, and they share the same rescue story. In October 2024, they were found abandoned along with their siblings in a planter outside a school. They were very young and crying when they were rescued. Since then, Sadie has been waiting for her chance to experience life in a loving home.
Ideal Home
Sadie would thrive in a home that understands her need for a little time to build trust and is willing to give her the love she deserves. A home with a fenced backyard is required, and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities would be a great fit.
Ongoing Health
Sadie has received a spay/neuter certificate, 2 DHPPI vaccines, a rabies vaccine, a Bordetella vaccine, and has been dewormed. She is microchipped, has a negative 4DX test and heartworm test certificate, and receives monthly preventive protection from Nexgard Spectra for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. She also has a health certificate and vaccination booklet. It's important to understand that rescued dogs may have experienced trauma and require an adjustment period, patience, and understanding. They may not be potty trained.
Training & Support
Sadie is not house-trained. Potential adopters should have experience in dog behavior and training or be willing to hire a trainer. Patience and high tolerance are crucial for rescued puppies.
