SANDY

Sandy and his brother Don were found as strays in the hills and brought to us after being raised by a kind individual until they were about 8 months old. They were understandably wary and timid when they first arrived, as much of the world was new to them. However, they've quickly warmed up to our staff and are even learning to walk on a leash! Sandy is a big lap dog who becomes extremely affectionate once he feels comfortable with you. Both Sandy and Don are very food-motivated, but they have no issues with resource guarding and happily share their meals. Sandy is a gentle, loving guy who will make a wonderful and loyal companion. He'll need a calm, patient human to help him explore the world beyond the deep woods.

Training & Support

Sandy is learning to walk on a leash and is food-motivated, which will be a great asset for further training. He needs a patient human to help him gain confidence and explore the world.
