Fonzie

Fonzie is a handsome, youthful, and playful small red Chihuahua mix who came to us as a stray. He's adaptive, engaging, and will be happiest when he finally has a family to call his own! Fonzie has a sweet and comedic personality that shines through once he trusts you, but he does need a little time and patience to warm up. He adores children and trusts them instinctively. While he can be a bit nippy about certain things until trust is built, he is generally handleable. Things like baths or putting on clothes can be overwhelming for him. Fonzie gets along with all dogs and is interactive with our volunteers.

Ongoing Health

Fonzie's adoption fee of $175 includes at least one health exam, altering, vaccinations (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming, and a microchip with a lifetime membership.

Training & Support

Fonzie may need gentle persuasion, consistency, structure, and praise to help with house training. He can be nippy about certain things until he develops trust with his person. A trial period before adoption is welcome if it will help him settle into a home.
