Duke is a handsome shepherd-hound mix with a heart full of happiness and a tail that never stops wagging. He greets the world with enthusiasm and just wants a chance to be part of it. Duke has spent too much time without an outlet for his energy, and like many smart, active dogs, he’s made his own “projects” out of boredom—chewing blankets and anything he can find. This isn’t who he is at his core—it’s a dog who simply hasn’t had the stimulation and attention he deserves. He was left tied to a fence, but he hasn’t let that define him. Duke is still hopeful, still joyful, and still ready to give his whole heart to someone who will give him a real chance.
