Meet Raffi, a handsome and gentle boy who came to us malnourished and sick, but is now thriving and ready to find his patient, loving forever home! Raffi is a bit timid when he first meets new people, but once he feels safe, his playful and sweet personality truly shines. He's likely a mix with McNab Shepherd or shorthaired Border Collie.

Ideal Home

Raffi is a ladies man (dog) and prefers women. He is fearful of men and his response is barking, so he would do best in a home without men. He would also do best in a cooler climate, as his dark coat gets hot in Mexico.

Ongoing Health

Raffi arrived malnourished and sick but is now thriving.

Training & Support

Raffi needs someone with patience and training to help him with his anxiety. He is a dog who will likely always be on the cautious side and is scared of some men. He is dog-social and loves going for walks.

Transportation

Raffi is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. During the summer months, if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable, dogs may fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border.
