Sandy (20240813-01)

Sandy is a 6-year-old, 60 lb female Lab mix with a beautiful brindle coat. She was found abandoned at a school and has blossomed in foster care, showing herself to be a very loving and affectionate companion. Sandy's favorite activity is cuddling up with her people, and she truly believes she's a lap dog, no matter her size! She enjoys chewing on her toys, though they rarely last long, and especially loves large marrow bones. Sandy walks well on leash and rides nicely in the car.

Ideal Home

Sandy would thrive in a home where her family is present more often than not. She needs to be the only dog in the home and cannot live with cats. A home with a yard is a must, and she is not suited for apartment living.

Ongoing Health

Sandy is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations.

Training & Support

Sandy is house-trained and crate-trained. She is not a barker and is not a flight risk. She is not food aggressive. Her only destructive tendency is with her stuffed toys, so be prepared for a steady supply of new ones!
