Stella-HOMELESS AT 15

Meet Stella! This sweet 15-year-old lady found herself homeless when her elderly owners could no longer care for her. She's a bit confused and overwhelmed by the sudden changes, especially after being used to a quiet life with her people. The shelter and a busy foster home have been quite a shock to her system. Stella is not aggressive, but she is shy and prefers to avoid attention when she's unsure. We can see a loving and gentle soul beneath her cautious exterior, just waiting for a peaceful environment. She has never lived with other animals and tends to steer clear of them, though she might be comfortable with one or two very calm, older dogs who are happy to nap on their own terms.

Ideal Home

Stella would thrive in a quiet home where she can feel safe and relaxed. A home without young children or boisterous pets would be ideal for this gentle senior.

Ongoing Health

Stella is in good overall health. She's a fluffy Spitz-type mix, weighing around 20lbs, with some cute blue spots on her tongue that hint at Chow ancestry. We suspect she might also have some Pomeranian, Eskimo, or Schipperke in her mix, which would explain her petite size.

Training & Support

Stella appears to be housebroken and enjoys napping in soft beds. She's a pleasure to pet, and her soft fur is quite therapeutic.
