Artie is a 3-year-old, 32-pound Terrier mix who is spayed and ready for her next adventure! This high-energy girl is always up for a game of fetch, a run in the yard, or just zooming around the house with her favorite toys. Artie is incredibly smart, playful, and affectionate, and she absolutely loves meeting new people. She greets strangers with pure excitement and a wagging tail, always ready to make a new friend.
Ideal Home
Artie thrives in an active environment and would do best with a family that enjoys walks, playtime, and outdoor activities. A yard or open space to run would be a huge bonus. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she can be a little on edge initially and is protective of her toys, though this behavior is short-lived and she quickly backs off. She may bark or pull on leash when she sees other dogs, so continued training will help her refine her manners. Artie has not been around cats or children, but her friendly nature suggests she could do well with proper introductions.
Ongoing Health
Artie is a healthy girl who is spayed.
Training & Support
Artie is house-trained and crate-trained, sleeping in her crate at night and during the day for about 4-6 hours. She may whine a bit when settling but eventually calms down. It's recommended that she continue to be crated when left alone, as she can be curious and get into things. She needs continued training to help her learn to settle calmly and share toys more comfortably.
