Blu

Meet Blu, a beautiful Malamute mix who will be 3 years old in October! She's a sweet and gentle soul who already knows several basic commands and is reliably house-trained. Blu is also crate-trained, but she's done well when left out or in a gated area, and she hasn't shown any destructive tendencies. She enjoys being walked on a leash and would love a fenced yard to explore. While she's great with children of all ages, she's never lived with cats. Blu can get a little vocal in the car, so she may not be the ideal travel companion.

Ideal Home

Blu would do best in a home with a fenced yard, though she is also good on a leash. She has lived with other dogs in the past and was rehomed because she did not get along with one of the larger dogs in the home. She appears to be tolerant of smaller dogs.

Ongoing Health

Blu is spayed, up-to-date on all her vaccinations, and is heartworm negative. She occasionally takes Trazadone, which helps her relax during car rides and grooming appointments.

Training & Support

Blu knows several basic commands and is house-trained. She is also crate-trained, but can be comfortable outside of a crate if given a safe space.
