Hi, I'm Gerald! They call me the Gentle Giant, and I'm a super sweet, all-around good boy. I might be a big dog, but I've got the heart of a playful puppy! My scar above my left eye is noticeable, but it tells a story of a past lacking love. Thankfully, my spirit is strong, and I'm ready to soak up all the affection you can give. Life is pretty amazing, and I'm thrilled to be discovering it!

Ideal Home

I'm great with kids, but I'm still learning my own strength, so a watchful eye around little ones is appreciated. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and puppies, though some supervised playtime is recommended. While I can be your only furry friend, I'd truly thrive with a calm, alpha dog to look up to. I'm completely house-trained and will let you know when I need to go out or am ready to play!

Ongoing Health

No specific health conditions are noted. My adoption fee includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, a heartworm test (if over 9 months), deworming, and a microchip.

Training & Support

I'm a quick learner, especially when treats are involved! I'll do just about anything for a tasty reward. My one little quirk is a fear of garden hoses on full blast, so gentle splashes are preferred!

I am currently in a foster home in Howard Lake, MN. We are a foster-based rescue, so meet-and-greets happen after an application is approved.
