Ashton was rescued as an abandoned stray, all alone and looking for a human to love. He was ecstatic when we made contact with him, so full of joy to be receiving love and attention, clearly something he had been longing for. We knew right away he would make someone very happy. If you are looking for an intelligent, loyal, athletic, true companion that will not only soak up all the love and attention you give him but will gleefully return it, then Ashton is your boy! He loves to give kisses and be with people, and makes friends easily through his charming ways. If you're sitting, Ashton will surely ask to be in your lap. Ashton is waiting to spread his happy love and can't wait to be snuggled up next to his person, being the best friend you could ever dream of. Ideal Home
Ashton would thrive in a home with daily physical and mental activity, so an outdoorsy person who goes on brisk daily walks or hikes would be a great fit for him. He can be a bit excitable around other dogs, so we recommend a home without another dog, at least in the beginning. No cats, please.
