Digger

Digger is a handsome 2-year-old Retriever mix who has made his way to Wisconsin and is settling into his foster home. He came to us from a shelter in Georgia after his previous owners could no longer care for him. Despite his past, Digger remains a happy, easygoing dog with a fun and goofy personality that is sure to bring a smile to your face! He weighs about 60 lbs and is already neutered, potty trained, and likely crate trained.

Ideal Home

Digger would be a great companion for someone who enjoys outdoor adventures but also appreciates a dog who is happy to relax at home afterward. He enjoys playing with other dogs and adapts his play style to match theirs, but is more mellow one-on-one and enjoys relaxing with his people. He did great around children at a parade and prefers older, respectful kids over little ones who may climb or hang on him.

Ongoing Health

Digger is already neutered. His adoption fee includes up-to-date dewormer, vaccinations, and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Digger is a smart and eager-to-learn pup who knows several tricks, including sit, high five, lay down, and roll over. He is food motivated and always happy to work for a tasty snack. He is also good on leash.
