Timone

Timone is a sweet, sensitive 1.5-year-old Pit Bull/Shepherd mix with a big heart who is hoping for a fresh start. He was surrendered due to concerns about "aggression," but in our care, Timone has shown himself to be a young dog who is fearful and overwhelmed, and who is still learning how to feel safe. His previous life involved a lot of time spent in a crate, and the busy environment of a home with children may have been more than he could comfortably handle. When Timone feels uncertain, his first instinct is to worry, not to cause trouble. With patience and kindness, Timone has shown that he wants to connect with people. He truly thrives in a calm, predictable environment where he can build confidence at his own pace. Once he feels secure, his sweet and gentle nature begins to shine through! Timone is looking for an adopter who understands that scared dogs need time, not pressure. A quieter home and positive reinforcement training will help him continue to grow into the loyal companion he's meant to be. Ongoing Health

All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped before adoption.

Training & Support

Timone is still learning how to feel safe and can be fearful when uncertain. He benefits from patience, kindness, and positive reinforcement training.

• Same-day adoptions are not available.
• Appointments are required for visits after application approval.
