George

George is a dignified, polite, and intelligent two-year-old boy, weighing around 45 pounds. He's a charming mix, possibly Border Collie and hound, with a good-natured spirit. George enjoys running and playing, and he shows his affection quietly by resting his head against you, often seeking a good belly rub. He's house-trained and gets along well with people and other dogs, especially when off-leash.

Ideal Home

George thrives in an active environment where he can run and play. While he is generally good with other dogs off-leash, he can become panicked if he encounters another dog too closely while on-leash.

Ongoing Health

George may have a past injury to his left hind foot, which has healed but he occasionally favors it. This has led to the early development of arthritis.

Training & Support

George is house-trained and good with people and other dogs off-leash. However, he needs continued support with leash reactivity around other dogs to help him feel more comfortable in close quarters.
