Rosa

Rosa is a sweet Rottweiler weighing in at 90-100 pounds, and we guess she's around 6-8 years young. She arrived with us looking a bit rough from a high-kill shelter in SW Virginia, but since then, she has truly blossomed! Rosa is a bright girl who knows how to sit and even shake hands. She's very food-motivated, making her eager to learn and please. While she is big and strong, she is a well-behaved lady with her foster mom. We know Rosa would love to find her very own home and a family to call her own.

Ideal Home

Rosa would do best in a home with a strong and competent owner. She needs to be the only pet in the household.

Ongoing Health

Rosa is generally healthy. As a senior dog, she qualifies for a reduced adoption fee of $100.

Training & Support

Rosa is well-behaved with her foster mom and knows some basic commands. Her food motivation can be a great asset for further training.

• The adoption fee for Rosa is $100, which is a reduced fee for seniors and dogs that may take a little longer to find their perfect match.
• Our standard adoption fee is $175 and includes spay/neuter, heartworm and tick-borne disease testing, microchip, rabies vaccination, distemper/parvo and bordetella vaccinations, and treatment for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
