Lil Guy Lou Lover

Meet Lil Guy Lou, or LG for short! This goofy, lanky boy is the epitome of happy-go-lucky and has a truly sweet personality. He's become a favorite in his foster home, showering everyone with affection and a playful spirit.

Ideal Home

LG is a social butterfly who absolutely adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident canine sibling to be his playmate and best friend. He also enjoys being close to his people, making him a loyal shadow for work-from-home days, couch cuddles, or adventures. He enjoys staying active and is a great walking and running partner. While he's done well free-roaming in his foster home when they leave, he's not a fan of crates.

Ongoing Health

LG is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworms.

Training & Support

LG is a social dog who has been praised at daycare for his friendly interactions with other dogs. He's also a calm and confident passenger in the car and a good walking companion. He's not a fan of crates, but has done well when left to roam his foster home.

Transportation

LG is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). Transport includes real-time tracking, photo updates, and access to a private Facebook event page. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
