At first take, Chickie will appear very mature, demure, and lady-like; however, she is more than happy to show off her silly side at the sight of her tennis ball or her favorite stuffed toy. Chickie is content to both play with her person or play independently and is known to wrap up a play session with a request for belly rubs, which often puts her back to sleep. On walks, Chickie is exactly who you'd expect her to be - a gentle, loose-leash walker who loves to go for a slow stroll with lots of sniffs. Each is a reminder to enjoy the small moments in life because they matter. At 5 years old, Chickie is the perfect houseguest. Her puppy days are far behind her, yet as a young adult, she has so much healthy life left to live. Chickie shows off her well-seasoned, yet not overdone, nature with her amazing behavior skills. She is fully crate trained both during the day when she is left alone and overnight, never making a sound of protest. Additionally, Chickie is fully housebroken and knows her basic commands like "sit" as if they are second nature to her.
