Kaia

Kaia is a 7-year-old, 35lb female Jindo mix who is a super sweet and loving girl. She can be shy and nervous at first, but once she warms up, she absolutely adores pets and cuddles. Kaia needs a patient and understanding person who has the time to help her gain confidence and properly train and socialize her.

Ideal Home

Kaia would thrive in a home with someone who has the time and dedication to help her feel safe and loved. She is usually friendly with small dogs and cats, but can get initially excited. She does sometimes exhibit fear aggression habits around larger dogs and men, so a home without those specific triggers might be best.

Ongoing Health

Kaia has a pancreatic enzyme deficiency that caused her to lose weight. She requires an enzyme concentrate medication with every meal to help her regain weight and stay healthy.

Training & Support

Kaia needs ongoing training and socialization to help her overcome her initial shyness and fear-based reactions. With consistent positive reinforcement, she can blossom into an even more confident companion.
