Henry

Henry is a handsome fellow, just over a year and a half old, who is looking for his happily ever after! He previously found himself at the York SPCA, but was lucky enough to go to a home with a wonderful couple. While there, he lived with two parents and two cats, and everyone worked hard to create a peaceful coexistence. Unfortunately, despite everyone's best efforts, Henry's instincts got the better of him, and he decided cats were more like snack time than friends. With a heavy heart, his family surrendered him back to the York SPCA. Now, with the help of HOPE, we're all focused on helping Henry build confidence and become calmer around other animals. He absolutely LOVES people and treats, and is learning about toys and basic obedience. We're confident that with the right guidance, Henry can find his perfect match.

Ideal Home

Henry would do best in a home with no other pets, as he seems to view them as potential snacks rather than companions. He needs a patient owner who understands he may never want furry friends.

Ongoing Health

Henry is fully vetted and neutered.

Training & Support

Henry is learning about toys and basic obedience. He will benefit from continued training and socialization. FREE lifetime training assistance is provided.
