Meet Hachi!

Hachi is a resilient and loving boy who spent most of his life in an outdoor kennel after being rescued from a hoarding situation. Despite his past, his heart remained soft, and he's now a total love bug eager to experience the joys of a loving home. He greets life with a wagging tail, a gentle spirit, and a genuine affection for people. Hachi is wonderful with children and friendly with everyone he meets, making him a true "people person." He cherishes simple things like belly rubs, a cozy bed, and quality time with his family, which were all new to him when he was rescued. He's crate trained, potty trained, and ready to settle down.

Ideal Home

Hachi is looking for a home where he's included, cherished, and loved. He enjoys adventures and car rides, and he's happy to relax by your side after a fun day. While he's still learning to navigate doggy friendships, he tends to do best with confident dogs and may try to assert himself with more timid pups.

Ongoing Health

Hachi is still working on gaining weight after years of being underfed. His ideal weight is closer to 60 lbs, so he's looking forward to plenty of delicious treats!

Training & Support

Hachi is crate trained and potty trained. He does best with slow introductions to other dogs.
