Leo (Dallas)

Leo is a precious 5lb, approximately 10-year-old poodle who is very easy-going and loves his belly rubs. He prefers to sleep on his favorite blanket on the couch and uses pet stairs like a champ. Leo loves all the dogs in his foster home.

Ideal Home

Leo would thrive in a home without small children. He also requires a home without large dogs, and no swimming pool unless completely enclosed by permanent fencing. A home without a doggie door is also preferred due to his small size. Leo tends to bark often, so an apartment would not be suitable. When guests visit, he does best if his person holds him, otherwise, he may bark for a while.

Ongoing Health

Leo recently had a dental procedure and lost most of his teeth, so he will need soft food and/or very small kibble. He also has some food sensitivities, and his foster mom is currently working on identifying which foods he can tolerate.

Training & Support

Leo tends to bark when guests visit, and it's recommended that he is held by his person during these times.
