Carbon is a 78-pound Husky/Pitty mix with a heart of gold and a personality as soft as his charcoal-black coat. He's a true cuddle king who believes he's a lap dog, despite his size! Carbon greets everyone he meets with enthusiastic affection, leaning in for pets, head scratches, and belly rubs. He's incredibly gentle and makes everyone feel special. He's also a fantastic work-from-home companion, happy to quietly nap under your desk while you're busy. When he's not collecting cuddles, Carbon enjoys playing with his favorite stuffed toys and romping with his foster siblings. He's an excellent roommate to other dogs of all shapes and sizes, being social, respectful, and easygoing. We're still learning about his compatibility with cats, but with his sweet nature, we're optimistic!
Ideal Home
Carbon dreams of a home where he'll have a family to call his own. A fenced yard would be a bonus for playtime, but his greatest joy is simply being wherever his people are. He's not looking for perfection, but for connection.
Ongoing Health
Carbon is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention. He also received a heartworm test and has a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Carbon is a well-adjusted dog who gets along with others. He's accustomed to being a part of a busy household and enjoys both quiet companionship and playful interaction.

We can transport pets nationwide, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
