Cedar (bonded with Shaddock)

Meet Shaddock and Cedar, a bonded pair of 6 1/2-year-old siblings who are rarely far from each other! These curious and intelligent pups have earned the nickname "peepers" from rescue volunteers because they love to keep an eye on everything happening around them, often peeking from cozy spots. Shaddock is the white and red boy, and his sister Cedar is a reddish-brown. With the help of a patient foster mom, they've blossomed in confidence and are now searching for a forever home that will continue to offer them patience and understanding. While they may not be lap dogs, they are wonderful companions who are attentive and enjoy being in their people's presence after a slow introduction and some decompression time. They sleep together in a crate at night and have learned good potty manners. They do best with a doggy door or easy access to a securely fenced yard.

Ideal Home

A cozy, quiet home is ideal for Shaddock and Cedar. They are not suited for homes where they would need to be walked on a leash, as they are not leash-trained.
