Morty Mello is a 6-year-old, 75lb pittie mix with a giant head and a marshmallow-soft personality. He's the king of relaxation, a true master of the chill life. Morty is as gentle as they come, and his easygoing nature makes him a joy to be around. He's the kind of companion who would happily join you for a movie marathon or a lazy Sunday afternoon. He's a rescue, so his exact breed and age are a best guess, but his sweet temperament is undeniable.

Ideal Home

Morty would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can soak up the sun and explore. He's also adaptable to apartment living, as he's quiet in his crate and walks beautifully on leash. He would do best with another dog of similar size and temperament, one who also enjoys a relaxed lifestyle. He is not a fan of small dogs or cats, so a kitty-free home is a must.

Training & Support

Morty has wonderful house manners and is fully potty trained. He walks beautifully on leash and is quiet in his crate, making him an excellent work-from-home companion or a low-maintenance buddy for leisurely strolls.

Transportation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track your pet's journey in real-time with photo updates and connect with other adopters via a private Facebook event page.
