Meet Bubba Boy, an 8-year-old sweetheart with the gentlest soul. Bubba is the definition of a soul dog, and the bond you'll build with him is something truly special. His favorite place in the world? Curled up on your chest, snuggled in close for hours at a time. He's calm, low-energy, and perfectly content relaxing at home with his people. He's easygoing, affectionate, and happiest when he's soaking up love (and sunshine!). He loves to do an occasional zoom about once a month in the backyard. Don't let his chill personality fool you – Bubba gets so excited when the leash comes out! He walks beautifully and does great passing other dogs on walks. Bubba is a bit timid/unsure with dominant dogs, but we think he would do great living with a cat! He loves to burrow under blankets, thinks he's a weighted blanket, and loves laying his whole body on your chest. He gives kisses very sparingly, which makes them extra special. He does not jump, rides well in the car, and never misses a meal.

Ongoing Health
Bubba is a healthy boy who is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm preventatives, and is microchipped.
Training & Support
Bubba is a professional-level snuggler and loves to sunbathe in the backyard. He has received professional training and behavioral assessments from our staff, including crate training and leash walking.

- Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
Transportation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. This includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pickup locations in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real-time and receive photo updates.
